CHRISTMAS AT THE ARK
The Ark at Christmas is a must-see. This life-size replica of Noah’s Ark is always special, and Christmastime takes the experience to a new level. On our way there, we will stop in Nashville, Tennessee, and tour the majestic Gaylord Opryland Hotel, fully decorated for Christmas. While there, we will experience ICE, a magnificent ice sculpture display. Then we will visit the Wonders Center and Science Museum, the Corvette Museum, Claudia Sanders’ Dinner House, and enjoy a river cruise in Cincinnati, Ohio. On the way home, we will stop in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, for some Great Smoky Mountain Christmas cheer at The Island and a dinner theater experience at the Biblical Times Theater’s Christmas production. After our last night’s rest, we will head home, completing this 5-day, 4-night Christmas Tour.
Tentative Itinerary

Day 1 – Tuesday, November 30 Travel Day / Nashville
On our first day we will depart from Bonifay, Fl in our luxury motorcoach and head north toward Montgomery, AL. Just south of Montgomery we will enjoy a good ol’ southern breakfast biscuit at Sweet Creek Farms before heading on toward Birmingham for a rest stop and then on to Buc-ee’s in Athens, AL. We will soon be on our way to “Music City” Nashville, TN where we will eat a great meal at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen before heading to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel that will be fully decorated for Christmas. While we are there, we will experience “ICE,” a spectacular Ice sculpture display that you will never forget. Then it is on to the hotel for a good night’s rest.

Day 2 – Wednesday, December 1 Nashville /Bowling Green / Cincinnati, OH
After breakfast we will load the bus and depart for the Wonders Center & Science Museum in Dickson, TN. This amazing attraction will leave you amazed at the many wonders our Heavenly Father has Created in His universe. We will have lunch there and then be on our way to every car lover’s dream, the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. After we tour the museum, we continue north to Shelbyville, KY, where we will have dinner at Claudia Sanders Dinner House with its “finger lick’n good” history. Then it is on to our hotel in Walton, KY for the evening.

Day 3 – Thursday, December 2 Cincinnati River Cruise / The Ark
A good breakfast will get us ready for a full day that will begin with a cruise on the Ohio River in Cincinnati. We will have lunch on an authentic riverboat as or guided tour shows us history and points of interest along the way. After we disembark, we will head to The Ark Encounter for the rest of the day and evening. When we arrive, we will tour the full-size scale replica of the biblical ark. Then we will have a grand buffet dinner at Emzara’s Kitchen. As darkness falls on the ark, thousands of lights along with beautiful music, will bring the ark to life as you see the Christmas story unfold before your eyes. Then it may be time for some hot cocoa before we head back to the hotel for a well-deserved night’s rest.

Day 4 – Friday, December 3 Cincinnati, OH / Pigeon Forge, TN
We will load the bus after breakfast and head south. We are planning a few stops, including lunch, along the way to Pigeon Forge, TN. We will make our way to “The Island” for some real Smokey Mountain Christmas cheer before we head to our hotel to get checked in. Then we will head out to the Biblical Times Theater for a wonderful meal and an inspirational show. The first half is a time of praise and worship to the Newborn King, followed by a powerful dramatic theatrical Christmas production. Then it is back to the hotel for one more night of good rest before we head home.

Day 5 – Saturday, December 4 Travel Day
After breakfast we will load the bus and head home. We will have rest stops and lunch along the way. During our travels we will have plenty of time to reflect on the beautiful sites we have seen and to share more time with our old and new friends. We will return home ready to celebrate the TRUE REASON FOR THE SEASON, CHRIST THE SAVIOR IS BORN! We will arrive back in Bonifay around 5:00 p.m..
