New England Fall Foliage

The colors of New England in the fall cannot be matched! We will travel through South Carolina and North Carolina with several stops along the way. Then it’s on to Annapolis, MD, where we will tour the United States Naval Academy. We will travel through the Berkshire Mountains to Old Sturbridge Village, MA. We travel the Kancamagus Highway through the stunning White Mountains. We will then board the Conway Scenic Railway to see the fall foliage. We will continue our journey to Portland, ME, for a scenic lighthouse cruise in Casco Bay. More beauty awaits as we travel to Portsmouth, NH, West Point, NY, (With a Private Tour of West Point Military Academy) Allentown, PA, and Buchanan, VA, one of top ten antiquing towns in the United States. We will begin our journey home with several other bonus stops along the way to round out this unforgettable 10-day, 9-night tour.

Tentative Itinerary

  1. Day 1 – Sunday, October 3 Bonifay, FL / Florence, SC

    We will load our luxury motorcoach and depart from Bonifay, FL on our way to see God’s great hand painted beauty in New England’s Fall Foliage. Today is all about enjoying the journey, making new friends, sharing a few laughs, and settling in for the fun ahead. We will have several scenic rests stops and lunch along the way. Our Fall Foliage Adventure will start as we move through the day. We will have dinner and then overnight in Florence, SC.

  2. Day 2 – Monday, October 4 Florence, SC / Annapolis, MD

    After breakfast, we will load the bus and head north on our journey. After several scenic rests stops and lunch we will continue toward Annapolis, MD. To celebrate our arrival in the New England area a special dinner at Carrol’s Creek Café, Casually elegant waterfront seafood restaurant serving classic Chesapeake area favorites! After dinner will head to our hotel in Annapolis for a good night’s rest

  3. Day 3 – Tuesday, October 5 Annapolis, MD / Stroudsburg, PA

    We will load the bus after breakfast and make our way for a guided tour of The Yard at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis and the USNA Museum; filled with exhibits about the history of sea power, the U.S. Navy, and the role of the U.S. Naval Academy in producing oMicers capable of leading America’s sailors and marines. As a special treat, we will enjoy lunch at the Naval Academy Club! (Visitors 21 & older must have a State issued driver’s license or passport). Then it’s on to Stroudsburg, PA for another great dinner and a good night’s rest.

  4. Day 4 – Wednesday, October 6 Stroudsburg, PA / Conway, NH

    Breakfast at the hotel will start our day oM right as we experience a beautiful day traveling through the Berkshire Mountains to Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, MA. We will have the opportunity to experience life as it was in rural New England 200 years ago; featuring costumed historians, antique buildings, water-powered mills, a working farm, and much more! Then we will continue on for dinner, before arriving at our hotel in Concord, MA.

  5. Day 5 – Thursday, October 7 Concord, MA / Conway, NH

    After breakfast we will load the bus and begin an amazing day. Get your camera ready, today is bursting with photo opportunities! We will travel The Kancamagus Highway through the stunning White Mountains with picturesque stops along the way. This afternoon: “all aboard” the Conway Scenic Railway, the very best way to view the Fall Foliage! We will travel right through heart of it as our train rolls through New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Then it’s on to another amazing dinner & a good night’s rest in Conway, NH

  6. Day 6 – Friday, October 8 Conway, NH / Portland, ME / Portsmouth, NH

    We will have breakfast at the hotel, load the bus and be on our way to take in the gorgeous sites as we travel to Portland, ME. We will the take a scenic lighthouse cruise through busy Casco Bay and its innermost islands to see lighthouses, forts, lobster boats, seals, and seabirds. Then we will have time to explore the waterfront shops or just sit and watch the ships navigate the Port of Portland. We will top oM this day with a lobster dinner in Portland, ME, before heading to our hotel in Portsmouth, NH.

  7. Day 7 – Saturday, October 9 Portsmouth, H / Plimoth, MA / Hudson Valley, NY

    Once we have finished breakfast and loaded the bus, we will be oM to Plimoth Rock, Plimoth Patuxet & Mayflower II – We will step back in time at Plimoth Patuxet, a Pilgram village where history comes to life as we explore the stories of the Pilgrims and the Indigenous people of the region. Then, climb aboard the Mayflower II, a full-scale reproduction of the ship that carried the Pilgrims to Plymouth in 1620. The we will have dinner and overnight in Hudson Valley, NH

  8. Day 8 – Sunday, October 10 West Point, NY / Allentown, PA / Winchester, VA

    We start with a good breakfast and then load the bus to make our way for a private tour of West Point Military Academy – America’s oldest military academy was the training ground for Ulysses S. Grant, Robert E. Lee, Douglas MacArthur, and Dwight Eisenhower to name a few. Our Step on guide will share the story of West Point, its role in the Revolution, its famous history, along with stories of graduates who helped shape our nation. We will see Cadet Chapel, the Plain which is the Cadet academic area, and Trophy Point with the million-dollar Foliage view overlooking the Hudson River. Then we’ll travel to Pennsylvania through rolling hills blanketed by colorful maples, aspens, oaks, dogwoods, hickories, and birches on our way to dinner and Overnight in Winchester, VA

  9. Day 9 – Monday, October 11 Winchester, VA / Cleveland, SC

    After breakfast we will begin our next-to-the-last day of this amazing journey. We will travel through the beautiful fall foliage with several scenic rest stops and lunch along the way. This afternoon we will bring our Fall Foliage adventure to a beautiful close with a visit to Pretty Place Chapel. Perched high in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This peaceful open-air chapel oMers breathtaking panoramic views—the perfect place to pause, take it all in, and enjoy one final unforgettable moment together. Then it’s on to Cleveland, SC for dinner and our last night’s rest on the tour.

  10. Day 10 – Tuesday, October 12 Cleveland, SC / Bonifay, FL

    Our final day together will begin with a good breakfast at the hotel. Then we will load the bus and head for home. We will have plenty of time to reflect on all the amazing beauty we have seen for the past 10 days. We will share memories and seal friendships as we talk about our next great adventure together. We will arrive back in Bonifay knowing this was truly, “MOORE THAN A TOUR…IT’S THE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!”
